End Of The Winter, Perhaps?

Unfortunately I should have gone out to take pictures last Friday since not only a lot of the snow has been removed this week but the temperature went up, it rained a bit and a lot of it melted. But you can still see how much snow is left and it will let you imagine what it was like. Last Thursday driving into town through the last big snow fall at 23h00 I could barely get pass the cars coming in the opposite direction on one street, and yet it normally was two lanes wide plus parking spaces. The snow towered 6 to 8 feet on each side of it…

End Of The World?

In less than an hour the CERN will begin celebrating the firing up of its newest particle accelerator, the LHC (Large Hadron Collider).

Some physicists say that certain experiments that are planed could put the Earth to danger, mainly by creating a black hole that could swallow us all into its gravity well. Of course if that happened we would never know would we!

A Pleasant Surprise

I wonder sometimes at the fact that I avoid commenting on my own art work here. It’s all the stranger, to me at least, that I have no such qualms about my washboard playing activities. This even with the fact that I perfectly know how limited my ability at scratch, rattle and rolling this greatest of percussion instrument is; and how greater my possibilities as an visual artist are.

But perhaps that there is part of the reason and not that strange after all.
